Join us as we come together to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and support the LGBTQ+ community at the 15th annual Toledo Pride Festival, Friday, Aug. 23rd through Sunday, Aug. 25th.

How Does Volunteering Work?

This year we decided to restructure how we handle volunteer sign-up. When signing up for a certain date and time slot please review if you are signing up for an individual, paired, or group time slot. 

Individuals are invited to apply on Friday for set up and Sunday for clean up. In addition, on Sunday we have a "pairs" section where volunteers must sign up in groups of 2. 

Our community volunteer program, "Toledo Pride in Action," invites business, faith, and non-profit community members to participate in meaningful service, fun, and camaraderie in groups on Friday night and all day Saturday. 

Volunteer groups for Friday and Saturday are asked to commit to one 2.5-hour timeslot throughout Pride weekend with 5 volunteers in each group.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to:

• Support Event Logistics: Help set up booths, stages, and other event areas to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Engage with Attendees: Assist with registration, distributing materials, and providing event participants information.
• Promote Inclusivity: Act as ambassadors of your company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion by engaging with the community and spreading positivity.
• Event Cleanup: Help with the post-event breakdown and cleanup to leave the venue better than we found it.
